Ecological Footprint was developed to measure the impact of human activities on ecosystems. Since it reveals the relationships between natural resource supply and demand; It provides a scientific basis for recognizing imbalances and producing solutions. Greenhouse gases released due to the consumption of fossil fuels have brought global warming. This warming is largely caused by human activities. Carbon dioxide (CO2), methane and nitrogen oxide, etc., are considered to be the main responsible for global warming. The chemical composition of the atmosphere has changed through the accumulation of greenhouse gases. There are basically two bases: I. monitoring the resources consumed and waste produced, II. It is the measurement of the biological productive area required for the production of needs and the elimination of waste. Ecological footprints reached based on these foundations show how much biologically productive area companies use in the production and consumption axis.
